Who is responsible

This website is run by Kasper Välimäki in Finland, the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: kasper.valimaki@gmail.com.

What we don't collect

There are no accounts and nothing to buy. The sighting form on the front page doesn't send or store what you type, and neither does the preorder button. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.

Analytics

To see how many people visit and what they look at, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited.

• If you choose Allow in the banner, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_MS2WNSH2BC, which last up to two years. It records the pages you view, roughly where you are (country and city), your device and browser, and how you arrived. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.
• If you choose No, or don't answer, no analytics cookies are set. Google may still receive a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, without any identifier, used only for aggregated counts.

The legal basis for analytics is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)); for the cookieless signal it is our legitimate interest in knowing roughly how many people visit (Article 6(1)(f)). Analytics data is kept for at most 14 months. Google may process data outside the EU, relying on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, it processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what happened before. Analytics data carries no name, so we may not be able to find yours without the identifier stored in your browser. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman at tietosuoja.fi.
